We’re proud to share some exciting news from our sister site — Maelor Foods has been named Poultry Business of the Year 2025 at this year’s National Egg and Poultry Awards!
This is the second time Maelor has received this prestigious recognition, highlighting the dedication and commitment of their entire team. What makes this achievement even more impressive is that the award spans all areas of the poultry industry — including eggs, ducks, turkeys, and chicken — with nominees put forward by industry peers and judged by a panel of seasoned experts.
The Maelor team were able to collect the award together on stage, with many guests on the night commenting on their strong team spirit — something we all know is key to success in our group.
While the trophy is a great addition to their collection, the real win is in what it represents: industry recognition of the values, teamwork, and hard work happening every day. And it’s just the beginning — both Maelor and Salisbury continue to strive towards our shared vision: unlocking the potential of our people to grow together and be the best possible chicken processors.
Congratulations to everyone at Maelor Foods — we’re proud to be part of the same journey!

It is down to the team though, we have come a long way and this can only help keep that motivation going to get #TeamMaelor to its goal of 2 million.
